一 六月二日、右同様により御礼として御老中への御逢対をお勤めになった。
一 同月四日六時半、長吉様が霊厳島御屋敷へお引越しになった（向井将監殿がお同道された）。お迎えのため松平庄兵衛正恒が遣わされ、お入りになる際には白洲へ御家老・御奏者番をはじめとする御役人が出向き、大広間へは御物頭をはじめとする御番組の面々が出向いた。御式台の板の間まで御出入りの御旗本中がお迎えに出向き、表御書院へご着座の上、昌明様がお出座になり御対面があった。その際にご持参の御太刀、金馬代、時服二十、二種二荷を御奏者番大谷助六重照が披露した。御長餞が出た後、長門守吉就殿の御家来口羽助之進が太刀目録を持参し、御目見を仰せ付けられ、御長餞を直々にお下しになることが済んだ。
長吉様がお同道で奥御書院へお入りになり、御長餞が出され、御雑煮・御吸物が出され、三献の御祝いがあった。御盃を長吉様へ進められ、その際に御大小（御太刀は備前兼光、代金二十枚、御脇差は備前兼政、代金六枚）をお進めになった。

One: On the 4th of the same month at 6:30, Chōkichi-sama moved to the Reiganjima residence (accompanied by Mukai Shōgen). Matsudaira Shōbei Masatsune was sent to welcome him, and when he entered, senior retainers and ceremonial attendants and other officials went out to the shirasu (white sand courtyard), while military commanders and guard unit members went out to the large hall. The direct retainers who handled entries and exits went out to welcome him up to the formal entrance hall, and after he was seated in the front study, Masaaki-sama came out and they met face to face. At that time, the ceremonial attendant Ōtani Sukeroku Shigeatsu presented the sword he brought, gold horse substitute, and twenty formal garments of two types in two loads. After the formal farewell meal was served, Kuchiba Sukenoshin, a retainer of Nagato-no-kami Yoshinari, brought a sword catalog, was granted an audience, and the matter of directly bestowing the formal farewell meal was completed.
With Chōkichi-sama accompanying, they entered the inner study, the formal farewell meal was served, New Year soup and clear soup were served, and there was a celebration with three rounds of sake. A cup was offered to Chōkichi-sama, and at that time a pair of swords (the long sword was Bizen Kanemitsu worth twenty gold pieces, the short sword was Bizen Kanemasa worth six gold pieces) was presented.
