長吉様の御祝儀の御礼を奥書院においてお受けになった。御家老をはじめ酒井権七・高屋善右衛門重英が御礼を申し上げ、御長煩を下された。それから中書院において御近習の面々が御礼を申し上げ、御長煩を下された。終わって表御書院において諸物頭から御番組の面々まで御礼を申し上げ、御長煩を取次ぎにより下された。中書院において御医師が御礼を申し上げ、御長煩を下された。終わって奥・表御小姓の面々が御礼を申し上げ、御長煩を取次ぎにより下された。諸役人・御徒の者・御馬方・御帳付け共は御通りがかりに御目見えを仰せ付けられた。
一 六月七日、江戸表からの御使者井原源兵衛頼起が昨日六日に福井へ到着したことにより、御本丸において今度御願いの通り長吉様を御養子に仰せ出された旨を、諸月番へ月番御家老が申し渡した。
一 同月九日、今度足羽郡愛宕山黒龍大明神の社の再興が仰せ出されて成就したことにより、今日遷宮があった。
一 同月十八日、暑中につき御使者を以て例の通り御国産の索麪・干鯛を献上された。

Lord Chōkichi received expressions of congratulations and gratitude at the inner study. Beginning with the chief retainer, Sakai Gonshichi and Takaya Zenemon Shigeyoshi offered their thanks, and ceremonial gifts were bestowed. Then at the middle study, the close attendants offered their thanks and received ceremonial gifts. After this concluded, at the front study, from the various military commanders to the guard unit members, all offered their thanks and received ceremonial gifts through intermediaries. At the middle study, the physicians offered their thanks and received ceremonial gifts. After this concluded, the inner and outer pages offered their thanks and received ceremonial gifts through intermediaries. Various officials, foot soldiers, horse keepers, and record keepers were granted audiences as they passed by.
One: On June 7th, the messenger from Edo, Ihara Genbei Yoriki, having arrived in Fukui yesterday on the 6th, the monthly duty chief retainer announced to all monthly duty officers at the main castle that Lord Chōkichi had been proclaimed as adopted son as requested.
One: On the 9th of the same month, since the reconstruction of the Kokuryu Daimyojin shrine at Mount Atago in Asuwa County, which had been ordered, was completed, the ceremonial transfer of the deity took place today.
One: On the 18th of the same month, due to the summer heat, local specialty somen noodles and dried sea bream were presented as tribute through a messenger, as is customary.
