長吉様へ御帷子三枚（内、御単物一枚）
昌明様へ御菓子一組、御肴一種を進上し、その他
御役人並びに御附の波々伯部小右衛門頼洪をはじめ御部屋附の面々へも
御祝儀を下され、暮れ時に鳥越御屋敷へご帰殿された
一 六月二十七日、日光御普請が御成就し、正遷座が首尾よく
済んだお祝儀として 御登城された
一 七月三日
長吉様ご同道にて 御登城された（昨二日、御同番の戸田山城守殿から御老中連名の御切紙が来た）
御養子の御礼を仰せ上げられた

To Lord Chōkichi: three summer robes (including one unlined robe)
To Lord Shōmei: one set of confections and one type of delicacies were presented, and in addition
to the officials and attendant Hahabakabe Koemon Yorihiro and others attached to the quarters,
celebratory gifts were bestowed. At evening, he returned to the Torigoe mansion.
One: On June 27th, the Nikko construction was successfully completed, and the formal enshrinement was accomplished without incident. As congratulations for this, he went to Edo Castle.
One: July 3rd
Accompanied by Lord Chōkichi, he went to Edo Castle (yesterday on the 2nd, a written order bearing the joint signatures of the senior councilors came from Lord Toda Yamashiro-no-kami, who shares the same duty rotation)
He expressed gratitude for the adoption.
From Lord Shōmei
To the Shogun: he presented a sword, gold in place of a horse, and one hundred bundles of cotton. To the Shogun's wife,
he offered ten rolls of silk crepe.
From Lord Chōkichi
To the Shogun: he presented a sword, gold in place of a horse, summer robes, and unlined garments.
To the Shogun's wife: he offered ten pieces of silver and rolls of silk gauze. After completion, he withdrew.
Upon departure, as thanks, they made courtesy visits together to the senior councilors, close attendants,
and junior councilors.
