願い出たところ、長左衛門殿から切支丹奉行藤堂伊予守殿に
伺いを立てられたところ、願いの通り申し付けて良い旨の指図があったと長左衛門殿から
申し越しがあったため、御家からも御達しが済み、勝手次第に行うよう
八兵衛に申し付けるよう、今日町奉行渥美新右衛門友信へ月番
御家老が申し渡した

長吉様ご同道にて 御登城され御能を 御見物された
一 同日、御能につき御使者御留守居加賀藤左衛門成興を以て
御桧重一箱、御肴鱈三一折を献上された（去る七日に御書付を御渡し）

御礼を仰せ上げられ、御退出の際に御老中、御側御用人へ御廻勤された

When the petition was submitted, Lord Chōzaemon consulted with Lord Tōdō Iyo-no-kami, the Christian magistrate, and received instructions that the request should be granted as petitioned. Based on this communication from Lord Chōzaemon, and since approval from the household had also been completed, the monthly duty senior retainer instructed town magistrate Atsumi Shinemon Tomonobu today to tell Hachibe that he could proceed at his discretion.
One: August 12th
Accompanied by Lord Chōkichi, he went to Edo Castle and viewed the Noh performances.
One: On the same day, regarding the Noh performance, through envoy and resident representative Kaga Tōzaemon Narioki, one box of cypress containers and one serving of fish (three cod) were presented (written instructions were given on the 7th).
One: August 13th
Accompanied by Lord Chōkichi, he went to Edo Castle and expressed gratitude for yesterday's Noh viewing. Upon departure, he made courtesy visits to the senior councilors and close attendants.
One: August 14th
Accompanied by Lord Chōkichi, he had an audience with Lord Ōkubo Kaga-no-kami Tadatomo, who was on duty, and performed his duties.
One: August 15th, as thanks for viewing the Noh performance, through envoy and resident representative Hara Heizaemon Masa[?], sea bream was presented.
One: August 17th, at Jōkō-in from yesterday evening the 16th until this morning, Lady Keiju-in...
