  三十三回御忌御法事御執行有之於小石川伝通院も   天称院様ゟ右同様御執行有之 一 八月十八日端午御祝儀御献上に付而之 御内書於   御城御渡有之御家来拝領物等如例 一 九月三日為重陽御祝儀御使者を以例之通御小袖   被献之白銀被指上之 一 九月五日弘文院え《割書:後束髪林|大学頭与改名》   長吉様御名乗字撰之儀御頼被成 一 同月十日   長吉様御同道に而御用番阿部豊後守《割書:正|武》殿え御逢対   御勤 一 同月廿五日御倹約之儀今度 公辺え被 仰達候に付   御家中も弥倹約可相守旨於評定所諸月番え   月番御家老狛杢允《割書:貞|澄》申達之左之通御書付   相渡之     一御家中侍中屋作不応分限普請      可為無用事軽可仕事     一武具馬具之嗜可為肝要兵具之外不入

現代語訳

三十三回御忌御法事が執行され、小石川伝通院においても 天称院様から右同様に御執行された 一 八月十八日、端午御祝儀御献上につき 御内書が 御城において御渡しされ、御家来拝領物等は例の通り 一 九月三日、重陽御祝儀のため御使者を以て例の通り御小袖を 献上され、白銀を指し上げられた 一 九月五日、弘文院へ(後に束髪林大学頭と改名) 長吉様の御名乗字選定の儀をご依頼された 一 同月十日 長吉様ご同道にて御用番阿部豊後守正武殿へ御面会、 御勤めされた 一 同月二十五日、御倹約の儀について今度公辺へ仰せ達しされたにつき 御家中も益々倹約を相守るべき旨を評定所諸月番へ 月番御家老狛杢允貞澄が申し達した。左の通り御書付を 相渡した   一 御家中侍中屋作は分限に応ぜざる普請は     無用の事とし、軽く仕るべき事   一 武具馬具の嗜みは肝要なるべし、兵具の外は不要な

The 33rd anniversary memorial service was conducted, and at Dentsū-in in Koishikawa as well, the same type of service was conducted by Lady Tenshō-in. One: August 18th, regarding the presentation of Boys' Day congratulatory gifts, an inner letter was given at the castle, and retainers' received gifts, etc., as usual. One: September 3rd, for the Chrysanthemum Festival congratulations, through an envoy, ceremonial robes were presented as usual, and silver was offered. One: September 5th, to the Bun'in Academy (later renamed Sokuhatsuin Daigaku-no-kami), a request was made for the selection of Lord Chōkichi's formal name and characters. One: September 10th Accompanied by Lord Chōkichi, he had an audience with Lord Abe Bungo-no-kami Masatake, who was on duty, and performed his duties. One: September 25th, regarding the matter of frugality that was recently communicated to the government authorities, the monthly duty senior retainer Koma Moku-no-jō Sadazumi conveyed to all monthly duty officials at the council that the household should also increasingly observe frugality.
