御小袖被献之白銀被指之

一 同月晦日寒中御献上之生鱈一番二番共今夕

御側御用人へ御勤めに行かれた
一、十二月十八日 歳暮の御祝儀として御使者を以て例の通り
御小袖を献上し、白銀を指し上げた
一、同月二十六日 内匠様が御叙爵を仰せ出されたことについて、右の御礼のため
御用番大久保加賀守（忠朝）殿、御側御用人牧野
備後守（成貞）殿へ御勤めに行かれた
一、同月晦日 寒中御献上の生鱈一番二番共に今夕
（七時過ぎ）に到着したところ、明日は御献上が難しいため、その旨を御用番
大久保加賀守（忠朝）殿まで御達しの上、御献上は行わなかった

長吉様の年始御礼の儀について御伺いを立てられたところ、正月三日に
御登城されるよう御指図があった

[The lord] went to attend to duties with the chamberlain (gosoba goyōnin).
One: 12th month, 18th day - As year-end congratulations, through a messenger and following custom,
a small-sleeved kimono (kosode) was presented along with silver.
One: Same month, 26th day - Regarding the announcement of Takumi-sama's court rank appointment, in gratitude for this,
[the lord] went to attend duties with the duty councilor Ōkubo Kaga-no-kami (Tadatomo)-dono and chamberlain Makino
Bingo-no-kami (Narisada)-dono.
One: Same month, last day - The fresh cod for cold season presentation, both first and second grade, arrived this evening
(after 7 o'clock), but since presentation tomorrow would be difficult, this matter was reported to duty councilor
Ōkubo Kaga-no-kami (Tadatomo)-dono, and the presentation was not made.

When inquiry was made regarding Chōkitsu-sama's New Year's courtesy visit, instructions were given
that he should go to the castle on the 3rd day of the 1st month.
