一 正月朔日於 御屋形年始御規式有之御登城前
長吉様御太刀馬代御持参於 御座之間年始之
御祝儀被 仰上三献之御祝有之
但年始御祝儀 御対顔之儀以後不記之
一 同日年始為御祝儀 御登 城例之通御太刀
馬代御献上呉服御拝領
一 同日 御帰殿後年始之御礼被為 請

元禄四年辛未
一、正月元日、御屋形において年始の御規式があり、御登城前に
長吉様が御太刀馬代をお持参になり、御座之間において年始の
御祝儀を申し上げ、三献の御祝いがあった
ただし年始御祝儀の御対顔の儀については以後記載しない
一、同日 年始の御祝儀のため御登城し、例の通り御太刀
馬代を御献上し、呉服を御拝領した
一、同日 御帰殿後、年始の御礼をお受けになった

Genroku 4th year, Kanoto-Hitsuji (1691)
One: January 1st - New Year ceremonies were held at the lord's residence, and before departing for the castle, Chōkitsu-sama brought ceremonial sword and horse substitutes, offered New Year congratulations in the formal reception room, and there was a celebration with triple sake offerings.
Note: The formal audience ceremony for New Year congratulations will not be recorded hereafter.
One: Same day - For New Year congratulations, [the lord] went to the castle, presented ceremonial sword and horse substitutes as usual, and received silk garments as gifts.
One: Same day - After returning to the residence, [the lord] received New Year courtesy calls.
