罷出候処悲田宗御制禁之儀ニ付左之通御書院付

日蓮宗之内不受不施之儀ハ従兼而御制
禁ニ候然処小湊誕生寺碑文谷法華寺谷中
感応寺悲田宗と号不受不施之邪義を

一、四月二十一日、御養子の御祝儀のため松平長門守《注記:吉就》殿が御招請した
長門守殿が御書院へ御着座の時、御持参の御太刀を
披露した
長吉様が御長上座にお居りになり、御料理が出された《注記:三汁九菜》
昌明様、長吉様が御引物をお引きになり終わって、長門守殿の
御家来宍戸備前、粟屋帯刀、四羽助之進、志道兵庫に
御相伴を仰せ付けられ、御盃を下された。長門守殿からも酒井
与三左衛門《注記:元宣》、高屋善右衛門《注記:長英》、波々伯部小右衛門《注記:頼洪》へ御盃を下された
相済んで奥御書院へお通りになり、御菓子・御吸物が出された
一、同月二十七日、歳暮御祝儀御献上につきての御内書を
御城にて御渡しがあり、御家来拝領物等は例の通りであった
一、五月二日、大目付高木伊勢守《注記:守養【?】》殿から申し来たり、御留守居が
罷り出た処、悲田宗御制禁の儀につき左の通り御書院付から
相渡された
口上之覚
日蓮宗の内、不受不施の儀は兼ねてより御制
禁に候。然る処、小湊誕生寺、碑文谷法華寺、谷中
感応寺、悲田宗と号し、不受不施の邪義を

One: April 21st - Matsudaira Nagato-no-kami (note: Yoshinari) hosted an invitation for congratulations on the adoption of an heir.
When Nagato-no-kami was seated in the study, the ceremonial sword he brought
was displayed.
Chōkitsu-sama was seated in the place of honor, and a meal was served (note: three soups, nine dishes).
After Masaaki-sama and Chōkitsu-sama had finished exchanging gifts, Nagato-no-kami's
retainers Shishido Bizen, Awaya Taitō, Shiwa Sukenoshin, and Shidō Hyōgo were
ordered to join the banquet and were given sake cups. Nagato-no-kami also gave sake cups to
Sakai Yozaemon (note: Motonobu), Takaya Zenemon (note: Nagahide), and Hahakabe Koemon (note: Yorihiro).
After this was completed, they moved to the inner study where sweets and soup were served.
One: Same month, 27th day - Regarding the year-end congratulatory presentation, an internal letter was
delivered at the castle, and retainer gifts etc. were as usual.
One: May 2nd - From Chief Inspector Takagi Ise-no-kami (note: Morinobu[?]), a message came, and when the deputy castellan
went out, regarding the prohibition of the Hiden sect, the following was
delivered from the study attendant:

Regarding the matter of non-receiving and non-giving within the Nichiren sect, this has been
prohibited for some time. However, Kominato Tanjōji, Himonyadani Hokkeji, Yanaka
Kan'ōji, calling themselves the Hiden sect, [practice] the heretical doctrine of non-receiving and non-giving...
