相立候ニ付今度悲田宗堅停止ニ被 仰付之
宗旨相改候向後悲田宗之輩受不施ニ成共
又ハ他宗ニなり共心次第改可申候以上
未四月晦日
一 五月三日為端午御祝儀御使者を以例之通御帷子
御単被献之白銀被指上之
一 同月四日江戸 御発駕東海道通御旅行
一 同月十六日 御着城
一 同月十八日右同断ニ付為御礼御使者高知杉田
弾正《割書：三｜竹》江戸表江被指出之今日福井出立
一 同月廿六日酒井玄蕃《割書：元｜知》病気ニ付京都医師有馬
凉及被召寄玄蕃療治御頼被成度ニ付御使者
皆川与一右衛門《割書：勝｜秀》早駆ニ而京都江被遣之今日福井出立
但六月九日凉及福井着
一 同月《割書：日不｜詳》御書を以例之通御国産初鯖被献之
一 六月朔日為御帰国御礼御使者杉田弾正《割書：三｜竹》を以
例之通奉書紙并昆布干鯛御樽被献之
現代語訳
相立っていることにつき、今度悲田宗を堅く停止することを仰せ付けられ、
宗旨を改めさせる。向後悲田宗の輩が不受不施になっても、
または他宗になっても心次第で改めるべきである。以上
未年四月晦日
一、五月三日、端午の御祝儀のため御使者を以て例の通り御帷子・
御単物を献上し、白銀を指し上げた
一、同月四日、江戸を御発駕、東海道を通って御旅行された
一、同月十六日、御着城
一、同月十八日、右同断につき御礼のため御使者高知杉田
弾正《注記：三竹》を江戸表へ差し出した。今日福井出立
一、同月二十六日、酒井玄蕃《注記：元知》の病気につき京都の医師有馬
凉及を召し寄せ、玄蕃の療治を御頼みになりたいとのことで御使者
皆川与一右衛門《注記：勝秀》を早駆にて京都へ遣わした。今日福井出立
但し六月九日凉及が福井着
一、同月《注記：日不詳》、御書を以て例の通り御国産の初鯖を献上した
一、六月朔日、御帰国御礼のため御使者杉田弾正《注記：三竹》を以て
例の通り奉書紙並びに昆布・干鯛・御樽を献上した

have established themselves, therefore the Hiden sect is now strictly prohibited by order,
and their religious doctrine shall be reformed. Hereafter, those of the Hiden sect may become non-receiving and non-giving [practitioners],
or may convert to other sects as they see fit. The above [order dated]

One: May 3rd - For the Boys' Festival congratulations, through an envoy, the customary summer kimono and
unlined garments were presented, and silver was offered.

Danjō (note: Mitsutake) was sent to Edo. Departed from Fukui today
One: Same month, 26th day - Due to Sakai Gemba's (note: Mototomo) illness, Kyoto physician Arima
Ryōkyū was summoned, and as there was a desire to request Gemba's treatment, envoy
Minagawa Yoichirōemon (note: Katsuhide) was sent by express horse to Kyoto. Departed from Fukui today
However, Ryōkyū arrived in Fukui on June 9th
One: Same month (note: day unclear) - Through a letter, the customary first mackerel of the domain's products was presented
One: June 1st - For gratitude regarding the return to the domain, through envoy Sugita Danjō (note: Mitsutake),
the customary formal paper, kelp, dried sea bream, and sake barrels were presented
