一 七月廿九日御書を以例之通御国産初鱈被献之
一 八月朔日為御祝儀御使者を以例之通御太刀馬代
被献之
一 同月九日月次 御機嫌為御伺御使者磯部金左衛門 を以
御肴一種被献之金左衛門今日福井出立
一 同月十七日野廻り御供大御番士是迄八番ニ相勤候処
向後十二番ニ相勤子供御供ハ十番ニ相勤候様被 仰出之
一 同月十九日御台所方江御倹約之儀御書付を以被 仰出之
但右被 仰出之御書付御記録類不詳
一 同月廿五日御倹約ニ付御馬数被減向後江戸御国共ニ
都合五十疋ニ可相定旨被 仰出之
但此以後 思召ニ而六十疋ニ被相定
一 閏八月十一日 御本丸幷御門所御番之儀ニ付左之通
被 仰出之
一 御先物頭太鼓御門御番相勤候処御用捨ニ相成
下馬御門切手御門両御番所江加り相勤候様
但下馬御門八番切手御門六番ニ相成
一 表御番士 御本丸御番被相止 御座所斗御番

一、七月二十九日 御書を以て例の通り御国産初鱈を献上された
一、八月朔日 御祝儀のため御使者を以て例の通り御太刀馬代を
献上された
一、同月九日 月次の御機嫌伺いのため御使者磯部金左衛門を以て
御肴一種を献上された。金左衛門は今日福井を出立した
一、同月十七日 野回り御供、大御番士はこれまで八番に勤めていたが、
今後十二番に勤め、子供御供は十番に勤めるよう仰せ出された
一、同月十九日 御台所方へ御倹約の件について御書付を以て仰せ出された
ただし右の仰せ出された御書付は御記録類に詳細不明
一、同月二十五日 御倹約につき御馬数を減らされ、今後江戸・御国ともに
都合五十匹に定めるよう仰せ出された
ただしこの後の思し召しにより六十匹に定められた
一、閏八月十一日 御本丸並びに御門所御番の件について左の通り
仰せ出された
一、御先物頭は太鼓御門御番に勤めていたが御用捨となり、
下馬御門・切手御門両御番所へ加わって勤めるよう
ただし下馬御門八番、切手御門六番となる
一、表御番士は御本丸御番を止めて、御座所のみ御番を

presented through a messenger as usual
One: 9th of the same month - For the monthly inquiry into His Lordship's well-being, through messenger Isobe Kinzaemon,
one type of ceremonial fish was presented. Kinzaemon departed from Fukui today
One: 17th of the same month - Regarding field inspection attendants, the ōban samurai who had served in the eighth shift until now
were ordered to serve in the twelfth shift going forward, and child attendants were to serve in the tenth shift
One: 19th of the same month - Regarding economy measures for the kitchen quarters, orders were issued through written instructions
However, the details of the aforementioned written orders are unclear in the records
One: 25th of the same month - Due to economy measures, the number of horses was reduced, and it was ordered that
henceforth both in Edo and the domain, the total should be set at fifty horses
However, later by His Lordship's will, it was set at sixty horses
One: 11th of the intercalary eighth month - Regarding the main castle and gate guard duties, the following was
ordered:
One: The senior ashigaru commanders who had been serving guard duty at Taiko Gate were relieved,
and were to join and serve at both Geba Gate and Kitte Gate guard posts
However, Geba Gate became the eighth shift and Kitte Gate the sixth shift
One: The front guard samurai were to cease guard duty at the main castle and guard only the lord's quarters
