一 十二月二十六日
長吉様が御登城された際（中務大輔昌勝が御同道）、
（昨二十五日に阿部豊後守正武殿より御老中連名の御切紙が到来）
御老中列座にて四位に叙せられる旨の御達しがあり、相済んで御退出。
出掛けに御老中・御側御用人へ御挨拶回りをされた

長吉様の御名を監物様と御改名され、
昌方様と称されるようになった
一 同月二十九日 歳暮の御祝儀のため御使者を通じて例の通り御小袖を
献上し、白銀を差し上げた
元禄五年壬申

一 同日 年始御祝儀として御使者天方金五右衛門友重を通じて例の通り
御太刀馬代を献上した
但し金五右衛門は旧臘四日に御国表を出立

When Chōkitsu-sama made his court visit (accompanied by Nakatsukasa-taifu Masayoshi),
(yesterday on the 25th, an official document signed by all senior councilors arrived from Abe Bungo-no-kami Masatake)
in the presence of the assembled senior councilors, notification was given that he was appointed to the Fourth Court Rank, and after completion, he withdrew.
Upon departure, he made courtesy calls to the senior councilors and chamberlains

Chōkitsu-sama's name was changed to Monomimi-sama,
and he came to be called Masakata-sama
One: Same month, 29th - For year-end celebration, through an envoy, the customary kosode was
presented as usual, and white silver was offered
