一 正月十三日御参勤御時節為御伺御使者千本
長右衛門《割書：久｜長》江戸表え被指出之今日福井出立
但長右衛門江戸着日不詳
一 同月廿七日御老中ゟ御呼出御使者千本長右衛門《割書：久｜長》
罷出候処当四月中御参府可被成旨之御奉書御渡

一 二月九日月次 御機嫌為御伺御使者榊原助左衛門《割書：高｜広》江戸
表え被指出之御肴一種被献之助左衛門今日福井
出立
一 同日御病気御全快に付今日御床被為 揚
一 同月十五日 御病後初而 御本丸え被為 移於
御座之間本多孫太郎《割書：長｜員》初御家老并酒井玄蕃《割書：元｜知》
御家老嫡子え御長蚫被下之相済於㺚狚【韃靼】之間高知併
水戸平兵衛《割書：朝｜栄》山川内膳《割書：朝｜沢》え御長蚫被下之於大広間
寄合番頭以下新番は一統御目見被 仰付

御使者田中条左衛門を江戸表へ派遣し、御肴一種を
献上した。条左衛門は今日福井を出立した。
一 正月十三日 御参勤の時節についてお伺いを立てるため、御使者千本
長右衛門《割書：久｜長》を江戸表へ派遣した。今日福井を出立した。
ただし長右衛門の江戸到着日は不詳である。
一 同月二十七日 御老中から呼び出しがあり、御使者千本長右衛門《割書：久｜長》が
参上したところ、当四月中に御参府するようにとの御奉書を
お渡しになった。
一 二月九日 月次のご機嫌伺いとして御使者榊原助左衛門《割書：高｜広》を江戸
表へ派遣し、御肴一種を献上した。助左衛門は今日福井を
出立した。
一 同日 ご病気が全快されたことにより、今日御床上げをなさった。
一 同月十五日 ご病気の後初めて本丸へお移りになり、
御座の間において本多孫太郎《割書：長｜員》をはじめ御家老並びに酒井玄蕃《割書：元｜知》
御家老嫡子へ御長寿のお祝いをお与えになった。それが済んで韃靼の間において高知並びに
水戸平兵衛《割書：朝｜栄》山川内膳《割書：朝｜沢》へ御長寿のお祝いをお与えになった。大広間において
寄合番頭以下新番は一統御目見えを仰せ付けられた。

messenger Tanaka Jōzaemon was dispatched to Edo, and one type of ceremonial fish was
presented. Jōzaemon departed from Fukui today.
1. 13th day of the first month: To inquire about the timing of the sankin attendance, messenger Senbon
Chōemon《marginal note: Hisa｜naga》was dispatched to Edo. He departed from Fukui today.
However, the date of Chōemon's arrival in Edo is unknown.
1. 27th day of the same month: There was a summons from the Senior Councilors, and when messenger Senbon Chōemon《marginal note: Hisa｜naga》
appeared, he was given an official letter stating that he should come to the capital within the fourth month.
1. 9th day of the second month: For the monthly inquiry into his lordship's well-being, messenger Sakakibara Sukezaemon《marginal note: Taka｜hiro》was dispatched to Edo
and one type of ceremonial fish was presented. Sukezaemon departed from Fukui
today.
1. Same day: Due to complete recovery from illness, today he arose from his sickbed.
1. 15th day of the same month: For the first time after his illness, he moved to the main castle, and in
the audience chamber, beginning with Honda Magotarō《marginal note: Naga｜kazu》and the senior retainers, and Sakai Genba《marginal note: Moto｜tomo》,
the heir of the senior retainer, he bestowed longevity felicitations. After this was completed, in the Tatar room, to Takachi as well as
Mito Heibei《marginal note: Tomo｜ei》and Yamakawa Naizen《marginal note: Tomo｜sawa》, he bestowed longevity felicitations. In the great hall,
the group leaders and below of the new guard unit were all granted audience.
