江戸表へ派遣され、奉書紙並びに昆布、干鯛、御樽代を献上された。民部は
今日福井を出立した
ただし民部の江戸着及び献上物納入の日は詳細不明
一 同月二十二日 御家老本多左兵衛直重が病気につき養生のため御役を
御免になった
一 同月二十七日 御使者斎藤民部定武が御城へ罷り出た処、御返書の
御渡しがあり、その際民部へ御時服拝領が仰せ付けられた

One: On the 11th day of the 5th month, he arrived at the castle.
One: On the 12th day of the same month, for the same occasion as thanks, he dispatched messenger Kōchi Saitō Minbu Sadatake to Edo, presenting official paper, kelp, dried sea bream, and sake barrel money. Minbu departed from Fukui today.
Note: The date of Minbu's arrival in Edo and delivery of the offerings is unknown.
One: On the 22nd day of the same month, chief retainer Honda Sahyōe Naoshige was relieved of his duties due to illness for recuperation.
One: On the 27th day of the same month, when messenger Saitō Minbu Sadatake appeared at the castle, a reply letter was delivered, and on that occasion Minbu was granted ceremonial court dress.
One: On the 10th day of the 6th month, for the celebration of the return to domain,
Kenbutsu-sama sent through messenger Obata Uhyōe two varieties in one load, separately one box of dried confections and one tub of sake-lees pickles. An audience was granted in the enclosed chamber of the formal reception room, and dried abalone was bestowed.
Note: The date of Uhyōe's departure from Edo is unknown.
One: On the 22nd day of the same month, due to the summer heat, through an official letter he presented somen noodles and dried sea bream from his domain as usual.
One: On the 24th day of the same month, regarding the appointment to Eiheiji Temple, he went to the castle and had an audience in the great hall, presenting ten rolls of fabric, which was announced by the master of ceremonies. Kōkenji Temple, Chintokuji Temple.
