御目見えが仰せ付けられ、その後韃靼之間において御料理が出された（三汁九菜）。御引物を
御直々に御引きになり、孝顕寺・鎮徳寺が相伴を仰せ付けられた。大広間において
長老三人が一同に御目見えを仰せ付けられ、御入りの後で御料理（二汁七菜）を
下された
一 六月二十五日、浦方御遊覧のため御出かけになった（今日吉崎浦に御泊、七月五日新保浦宿、御帰殿）

An audience was granted, and afterward a meal was served in the Tartar Room (three soups, nine dishes). He personally presented the gifts, and Kōkenji and Chintokuji temples were ordered to accompany. In the great hall,
three head monks were granted an audience together, and after their entrance, a meal (two soups, seven dishes) was
bestowed upon them.
One: On the 25th day of the 6th month, he went out to tour the coastal areas (today stayed at Yoshizaki Bay, on the 5th day of the 7th month lodged at Shimbo Bay, returned to the palace).
One: On the 27th day of the same month, for summer greetings regarding his health, messenger Masugi Shozaemon Nobumoto
arrived in Edo yesterday, and today appeared before the duty officer Toda Yamashiro-no-kami Tadamasa-dono (accompanied by residence keeper Matsubara Zenzaemon)
and presented a letter.
One: On the same day, for the same purpose, messenger Masugi Shozaemon Nobumoto appeared at the castle (accompanied by residence keeper Hara Heizaemon)
and delivered one box of tribute fish (dried sea bream).
One: On the 29th day of the same month, summoned by duty officer Toda Yamashiro-no-kami Tadamasa-dono, messenger Masugi
Shozaemon Nobumoto appeared (accompanied by residence keeper Matsubara Zenzaemon), and a reply letter was delivered.
One: On the 6th day of the 7th month, for the celebration of his birth jewel, through a messenger he presented gold as customary.
One: On the 9th day of the same month, documents for firearm inspection were submitted to Edo today.
One: On the 18th day of the same month, Nakatsukasa-taifu Masataka-sama was seriously ill, and urgent news came from Edo,
so for condolences, messenger Kawamura Tōhachi Ujichika was dispatched to Edo,
departing from Fukui today.
