現代語訳

やむを得ない勤務筋は免じ、時に応じて取り勤める職務を仰せ付けられることもあるであろう

一　弘化四年丁未（1847年）九月九日、在城中は坊主の助勤として出仕するよう通達

一　同五年戊申（1848年）正月十五日、坊主雇勤を申し付けられ、勤務中は一人扶持を下される

一　嘉永二年己酉（1849年）十一月二十八日、奥坊主を申し付けられる

一　同四年辛亥（1851年）十一月八日、同苗の理右衛門の願いの通り隠居し、家督として高十八俵二人扶持を下され、格式徒士お供方を仰せ付けられ、徒士頭支配とする

一　同日、事情に慣れたため、在城中は坊主方へ出仕するよう通達

Unavoidable duties shall be exempted, and appropriate duties may be assigned as circumstances require

1. Kōka 4, Year of the Fire Sheep (1847), 9th month, 9th day: Notified to serve as assistant monk during castle residence

2. Same 5th year, Year of the Earth Monkey (1848), 1st month, 15th day: Appointed to employed monk duty, granted one-person stipend during service

3. Kaei 2, Year of the Earth Rooster (1849), 11th month, 28th day: Appointed as inner palace monk

4. Same 4th year, Year of the Metal Boar (1851), 11th month, 8th day: Following the wish of Riemon of the same family name for retirement, succeeded to family headship with eighteen hyō and two-person stipend, appointed as formal foot soldier attendant under foot soldier captain's command

5. Same day: Having become familiar with affairs, notified to serve in the monk department during castle residence
