現代語訳
一、年寄たちが殿上間へと向かい、読谷山と会釈を交わした。これが済むと退座し、その後大目付の指図により読谷山は退出した。大目付二人が御玄関の階段の上まで送り、先立つ従者たちが順々に退出した。
ただし年寄たちによる送りはなかった。
一、御小性頭、御書院番より出た人五十人が御書院番所に勤仕した。
一、大御番より出た人百人が大広間四之間に勤仕した。
英語訳
1. The elders proceeded to the denshō-no-ma and exchanged greetings with Yomitanzan. After this was completed, they withdrew from their seats. Subsequently, under the direction of the ōmetsuke, Yomitanzan made his departure. Two ōmetsuke escorted him to the top of the stairs at the formal entrance, and the leading attendants withdrew in order.
However, there was no escort by the elders.
1. Fifty men from the gokoshō-gashira and goshoin-ban served at the goshoin-ban office.
1. One hundred men from the ōban served in the fourth room of the ōhiroma.
