徳翁様に御懇に召し使われ、精出しよく相勤め候者故、この度阿部豊後守様へ仰せ談じられ候上、若年寄を仰せ付けられ、御加増百石を下し置かれ、原田又助相役、御守の勤めを仰せ付けられ候。御入部の節までは常府相勤めるべき旨仰せ出され候。かつ江戸表へ召し呼ばれ仰せ付けられるべく候えども、この度頼母罷り下り候に付き、御書付持参仕るべき旨仰せ出され候。御用の書連名加判を仰せ付けられ、若年寄の儀に候間、年寄共並びに同職請前の御用をも申し談ずべく候。同心料を下し置かれ、常府の内費もこれ有るべく候間、年々金六十両宛下し置かるる旨仰せ出され候事

Because he had been employed with great favor by Lord Tokuō and had served diligently and well, this time after consultation with Lord Abe Bungo-no-kami, he was appointed as wakadoshiyori (junior councilor), granted an increase of 100 koku, appointed to serve jointly with Harada Matasuke in guard duties. It was announced that he should serve at the regular residence (jōfu) until the time of [the lord's] entry into the domain. Moreover, although he should have been summoned to Edo, since Tanomoshi was going down this time, it was announced that he should carry the official documents. He was ordered to co-sign official documents, and since he holds the position of wakadoshiyori, he should consult on official business with the elders and colleagues in similar positions. Retainer stipends were granted, and since there would be expenses while at the regular residence, it was announced that 60 ryō of gold would be granted annually.
