療養に専念するよう仰せ出された事
一 同年九月、願いの通り当務を免じられ、無役として置かれたが、家柄の者につき席は大組物頭の次を仰せ付けられる旨を仰せ出された事
一 享和元年酉年十一月、与五郎と改名したい旨、願いの通り許可された事
一 同二年戌年八月、番頭を仰せ付けられ、纏・馬印をお免しになる旨を仰せ出された事
一 同年十月、会津において乗物をお免しになった事
一 同三年亥年八月、追鳥狩の節、隊中を召し連れて出向いた
但しこの後四度出向いた事
一 同年九月、今回の追鳥狩の節、両度の狩りともに隊々の連携・統制の次第がよく見え、かつその方の備え・列伍・足並み・進退等がよく揃い、つまるところ出精して指図に及んだ義であると思し召される旨を仰せ出された

1. In the 11th month of Kyōwa 1, year of the Rooster (1801), his request to change his name to Yogorō was granted as petitioned.
1. In the 8th month of Kyōwa 2, year of the Dog (1802), he was appointed as 番頭 (group leader) and was granted the privilege of using 纏 (banner) and 馬印 (horse insignia).
1. In the 10th month of the same year, he was granted the privilege of using a palanquin in Aizu.
1. In the 8th month of Kyōwa 3, year of the Boar (1803), during the bird hunting exercise, he led out his unit.
Note: After this, he participated four more times.

In the 9th month of the same year, regarding the current bird hunting exercise, in both hunting sessions the coordination and organization of the various units appeared excellent, and moreover his unit's formation, ranks, marching pace, advances and retreats were well coordinated - in short, it was deemed that he had shown diligence and skill in command.
