香奠増上寺へ相納候事
一同六寅年二月去夏
貞昭様御下向後御留主中御書用向
壱人に而精出相勤候段御称美被成下候事
一同七卯年九月追鳥狩に罷出候事
一同年十二月御供番共義追鳥狩手始に候所
足並内習之節ゟ出精及差図候段被 仰出
候事
一同八辰年三月支配筋宜令差引武備相励
出精いたし候に付為御褒美銀子五枚被下
置候事
一同年十月江戸為勤番罷登翌巳五月罷
下候
但御下向之節御用人仮役被 仰付相勤
罷下候且陣中番頭勤之形を以
若君様御官位に付御太刀御献上
御名代として御城江罷出
公方様
大納言様江相納候様被 仰付相勤候事
一貞昭様御婚礼御用相勤候に付麻御上下
現代語訳
香典を増上寺へ納めること
一 同六年寅年二月、去夏貞昭様が御下向後の御留守中、御書用向を一人で精励して相勤めた段を御称賛くださったこと
一 同七年卯年九月、追鳥狩に出向くこと
一 同年十二月、御供番共の追鳥狩手始めにあたり、足並み内習の節より精進して指図に及んだ段を仰せ出されたこと
一 同八年辰年三月、支配筋をよく差配し武備を励み精進したにつき、御褒美として銀子五枚を下し置かれること
一 同年十月、江戸へ勤番のため上り、翌巳年五月に下る
但し御下向の節、御用人仮役を仰せ付けられ相勤めて下る、かつ陣中番頭勤めの形を以て若君様の御官位につき御太刀御献上の御名代として御城へ出向き、公方様・大納言様へ納めるよう仰せ付けられ相勤めること
一 貞昭様御婚礼の御用を相勤めるにつき麻の御上下
英語訳
Offered incense money to Zojoji Temple
In the 2nd month of Kansei 6 [1794], year of the tiger, after Lord Sadaaki's return from Edo last summer, during his absence diligently handled secretarial duties single-handedly, which earned praise
In the 9th month of Kansei 7 [1795], year of the rabbit, participated in the bird hunting expedition
In the 12th month of the same year, at the beginning of the bird hunting expedition for the attendant guards, gave instructions with dedication from the formation practice sessions, which was commended
In the 3rd month of Kansei 8 [1796], year of the dragon, for properly managing his subordinates, encouraging military preparations, and working diligently, was awarded five silver coins as recognition
In the 10th month of the same year, went up to Edo for guard duty service, and came down in the 5th month of the following year of the snake
Note: During the lord's return journey, was temporarily appointed as chief retainer and served in that capacity; also in the capacity of guard commander during the campaign, served as representative for the presentation of a ceremonial sword to the Shogun and the Great Counselor on the occasion of the young lord's court appointment
