現代語訳
手配が良く整ったのは、畢竟（つまるところ）かねてから格別に心を込めて精一杯尽くしたためであると思し召され、御褒美として御小袖一重と銀子十枚を下し置かれた
ただし御小袖は後日御前において下し置かれたこと
一 同月、支配下の者どもの操練の儀について相励み、良く指図したにつき、御褒美として采配一柄を下し置かれた
ただし御品は後日御前において御手ずから下し置かれたこと
一 文政元寅年四月、三ノ丸教場稽古の儀について、与力並びに甲賀の者どもが列伍足並等を揃え、三ヶ年で上等の位に至り、かつ等位が進んだのは、精を出し心を用いて指図した結果であると御称美された事
一 同年九月、金山のうち三ヶ所を広田重左衛門へ取り計らわせるよう仰せ付け置かれた間、本務の御用が空いた節には右の計取立に副い、諸事を差し控えることなく申し談じて良く取り計らうよう仰せ付けられた事
一 同年十二月、御留守居備の面々の教場稽古については、別して繁多であったところ、精を出して良く世話をしたにつき、御褒美として綿五把を下し置かれた事

One: In the 9th month of the same year, he was ordered to have Hirata Jūzaemon take charge of three locations within the gold mines, and when his primary duties permitted, he was ordered to assist with these arrangements and to consult and coordinate all matters properly without hesitation
