When Senmyōin-sama entered [the castle as bride], he served the wedding duties,
and for this, Shōshōin-sama granted him five pieces of silver and one box of dried sea bream as congratulatory gifts through a foot messenger.
One: Same month - He was appointed as messenger to deliver 580 rice cakes to the residence of Matsudaira Aki-no-kami-sama, and Aki-no-kami-sama granted him seasonal clothing.
One: Same 7th year, year of the Tiger (Kyōhō 7, 1722), 3rd month - He went up to Edo for guard duty, completed one term of service, and returned.
One: Same year, 7th month - Regarding matters of tribute offerings and gifts before [the lord], as there were numerous duties ordered by the shogunate, he worked diligently and served well, for which he was granted one haori jacket with [the lord's] crest.
