味（あちはひ）甘（あまく）微（すこし）温（あたゝめ）毒（どく）なし中（うち）を補（おきな）ひ腹中（ふくちう）の虫（むし）を殺（ころ）す水腫（すいしゆ）
を治（ぢ）し悪瘡（あくさう）を療（れう）ず

鳧（ふ）
味は甘く微温性で毒はない。中焦を補い腹中の虫を殺し、水腫
を治し悪瘡を治療する。
鴨類は非常に多い。その中でもあおくび（青首鴨）を最上とする。脂肪が多く味が
美味で性質は平性である。しかし補益の効果は雁には及ばない。脾胃が虚弱
な人は食べてはならない。金瘡や血運には避けるべきである。過食すれば痰
を生じ、また疥癬を発症する。

Kamo (Wild duck) - also called magamo, also called aokubi
Fu (wild duck)
The taste is sweet and slightly warm with no toxicity. It supplements the middle burner, kills intestinal parasites, treats edema
and heals malignant sores.
Duck species are very numerous. Among them, aokubi (mallard) is considered the finest. It has abundant fat and delicious taste
with balanced properties. However, its supplementing benefits do not match those of wild geese. People with weak spleen and stomach
should not eat it. It should be avoided for sword wounds and blood circulation disorders. Overeating causes phlegm
to arise and may also trigger scabies.
