乍恐以書付奉願上候
一伊那街道高遠町伊那郡宿之間里程
相延罷在候儀数年来人足共御継立之時ニ難
渋申候得共従来右之場以テ御用弁相
勤来候ニ付右様之儀者不相成候段厳重利解
申聞置有之候得共弐里八丁与申儀者何年已前ゟ
唱来り候哉諸人委遠申場ゟ全申候ニ付

九月十二日県庁にて矢沼氏へ差し出し、翌十三日にご承認いただいた。
二十日、東京へ荷物を送るのに合わせて株金十両を納めた。近藤義男様が東京に在番しているため、ご持参いただいた。筆生池田貞人様がお役替えになるため、この度新株をお持参いただくとのことである。
恐れながら書付をもってお願い申し上げます
一、伊那街道高遠町から伊那郡の宿場間の道のりが
延びておりますことは数年来のことで、人足どもが継立の際に
難渋を申しておりますが、従来この場所でご用事を
勤めてまいりましたので、そのようなことは相成らない旨、厳重に
申し聞かせてあります。しかし二里八丁と申しますのは何年前から
言い伝えられてきたのか、皆遠い場所からまったく申しているため

On September 12th, submitted to Mr. Yanuma at the prefectural office, and approval was granted the following day, the 13th.
On the 20th, as cargo was being sent to Tokyo, ten ryō in stock money was paid. Since Mr. Kondō Yoshio is stationed in Tokyo, he kindly carried it there. Due to scribe Mr. Ikeda Sadahito's transfer, we were told that new stock certificates would be brought at this time.
Humbly submitting this written petition
First, regarding the distance along the Ina Highway between Takatō town and the post stations of Ina District,
the route has been extended, and for several years the porters have been
complaining of hardships during relay transport duties. However, since we have
traditionally carried out official duties at this location, we have strictly
instructed them that such complaints are unacceptable. But regarding the distance of two ri and eight chō,
we do not know from how many years ago this measurement has been
passed down, as everyone speaks of it as a distant place
