御名代仙菊様が御登城され、御退出の際に御老中並びに酒井河内守忠挙殿へ御回勤された。 ただし右の御礼で御登城されるべきところ、御不快につき御名代にて御礼を申し上げられた。 一、十一月十三日、右同様につき本多孫太郎をはじめ御家老並びに御城代へ御書を成された。 一、十二月三日、谷中南泉寺において高照院様の御一周忌の御法事を御執行された。華蔵寺においても昨二日の晩から今朝まで御法事を御執行された。 一、同月五日、御病気が御快然につき御老中へ御回勤された。 一、同月十日四時に御登城され(昨十一日に御老中阿部播磨守殿から御切紙が来た)、御肴一種を御献上された。御病後の御礼を申し上げられた。御退出の際に御老中並びに酒井河内守忠挙殿へ御回勤された。 一、同月十一日 仙菊様御同道にて、御家督後初めて東叡山並びに増上寺へ御参詣された。公儀御代々様の御霊前へ御太刀馬代銀五枚ずつを御献備された。 一、同月十五日、御登城されるべきところ俄かに御不快、かつまた今晩御老中

Prince Senkiku served as representative and attended the castle, and upon withdrawal made courtesy calls to the senior councilors and Sakai Kawachi-no-kami Tadataka-dono. However, although he should have attended the castle personally for this expression of gratitude, due to his indisposition, he expressed his thanks through a representative. 1. On November 13th, for the same reason, letters were written to Honda Magotarō and other senior retainers as well as the castle governor. 1. On December 3rd, the first anniversary memorial service for Lord Kōshōin was conducted at Nansenji Temple in Yanaka. A memorial service was also conducted at Kezōji Temple from the evening of the 2nd until this morning. 1. On the 5th of the same month, as his illness had recovered well, he made courtesy calls to the senior councilors. 1. On the 10th of the same month at four o'clock, he attended the castle (yesterday on the 11th, a formal letter came from Senior Councilor Abe Harima-no-kami-dono) and presented one type of delicacies. He expressed gratitude for his recovery from illness. Upon withdrawal, he made courtesy calls to the senior councilors and Sakai Kawachi-no-kami Tadataka-dono. 1.
