一、同日、御上初（新年の初めての食事）の祝儀として、御使者を以て鯛一折を献上された。この件の御披露が済んでから、稲葉美濃守正則殿から捻り御奉書が届いた。

一、正月十一日、御屋形において御具足餅の御祝いが行われた。
一、同月十五日、御不快（体調不良）により御登城をお断りされた。
一、同日、昨冬御任官を仰せ出された祝儀として、御使者を以て禁裏御所へ御太刀・馬代を献上され、女院御所へも献上物があった（御品物は詳細不明）。
一、同日、御任官について御老中から京都所司代への御奉書をお渡しになることに関して差し立てられた御徒飛脚が今日福井に到着したため、瓦御門番の永見牛之助にその御奉書の持参を仰せつけられ、京都へ遣わされた。今日福井を出立。
ただし、牛之助の京都到着日ならびに口宣御渡しの月日については、御記録類に詳細がない。
一、正月二十八日、御不快により御登城をお断りされた。

1. On the same day, for the celebration of the first formal meal of the New Year (go-agari-hajime), one box of sea bream was presented through a messenger. After the announcement of this matter was completed, a sealed official letter came from Inaba Mino-no-kami Masanori.

1. On the 11th day of the 1st month, a celebration for the armor-shaped rice cakes (gusoku-mochi) was held at the lord's residence.

1. On the same day, as celebration for the official appointment announced last winter, through messengers, a ceremonial sword and horse substitute were presented to the Imperial Palace, and offerings were made to the Retired Empress's Palace (specific items unclear).

On the same day, regarding the official letter from the senior councilors to the Kyoto Deputy (Shoshidai) concerning the official appointment, the foot messenger who had been dispatched arrived in Fukui today. Therefore, Nagami Ushinosuke, guard of the Kawara Gate, was ordered to carry this official letter and was sent to Kyoto. He departed Fukui today.
However, the date of Ushinosuke's arrival in Kyoto and the date of receiving the oral imperial decree are not detailed in the records.
