現代語訳
一、二月十一日、下馬御門内三ノ丸に御座所を御営築する件が仰せ出されたため、御普請の件について、御普請奉行小川治兵衛に月番御家老永見志摩吉洪が申し渡した。
一、同月十八日、歳暮の御祝儀を献上した件について御内書をお渡しになることに関して、御留守居が御城に罷り出たところ、柳之間において御内書の御渡しがあった。
「歳暮の祝儀として小袖五つが到来し、歓ばしく思し召されます。詳細については酒井雅楽頭が述べることでしょう。
十二月二十七日 御黒印
越前侍従殿へ」
右の御礼として、御老中ならびに酒井河内守忠挙殿へ御使者として御留守居を差し出された。

1. On the 11th day of the 2nd month, orders were issued for the construction of a lord's residence (goza-sho) in the Sannomaru within the Geba Gate. Regarding this construction work, the monthly duty senior retainer Nagami Shima Yoshihiro conveyed the instructions to the construction magistrate Ogawa Jihei.
1. On the 18th of the same month, regarding the presentation of year-end congratulatory gifts, an inner letter was to be delivered. When the keeper of the Edo residence went to the castle, the inner letter was presented in the Yanagi-no-ma (Willow Room).
"Five kosode robes have arrived as year-end congratulatory gifts, which are received with joy. Details will be explained by Sakai Gakutō.

As thanks for the above, the keeper of the Edo residence was sent as a messenger to the senior councilors and to Sakai Kawachi-no-kami Tadaoki.
