現代語訳
一、四月二十日、東叡山において大猷院様二十五回忌法事が執り行われた。
公方様が参詣されるのに伴い、予参して勤務した（装束着用）。
ただし昌親様については侍従の末席に着座される予定であったが、御家の格別な事情により、少将の次に着座されるべき旨、御老中の指図として細川越中守綱利殿から伝達があった。そのため同官の方を派遣し、松平陸奥守綱村殿の次に着座された。
一、同月二十一日、同じく東叡山へ使者を派遣し、御番頭（御留守居同道）を通じて香典として銀二十枚を献上した。
一、同日、泉蔵院において去る十九日から今日まで、台徳院様三十五回忌法事を執り行った。
一、同日登城し、法事が首尾よく済んだ旨を御歓として申し上げた。
一、同月（日付詳細不明）、江戸表において左記の通り申し渡された。

1. On the 20th day of the 4th month, the 25th anniversary memorial service for Lord Daiyū-in was held at Tōei-zan. In connection with the Shōgun's visit, advance participation and service were performed (in formal court dress). However, while Lord Masachika was scheduled to be seated at the lowest position among the Jijū (Chamberlains), due to special circumstances regarding his house status, Lord Hosokawa Etchū-no-kami Tsunatoshi conveyed instructions from the Senior Councilors that he should be seated next to the Shōshō (Minor Captains). Accordingly, a colleague was sent as representative, and he was seated next to Lord Matsudaira Mutsu-no-kami Tsunamura.
1. On the 21st day of the same month, similarly, an envoy was sent to Tōei-zan, and through the guard captain (accompanied by the caretaker), twenty pieces of silver were offered as incense money.
1. On the same day, at Senzō-in, from the 19th until today, the 35th anniversary memorial service for Lord Taitoku-in was conducted.
1. On the same day, attended the castle and reported with joy that the memorial service had been completed successfully.
