但し、右の願いの件について御勘定衆が適当でない旨を申したため、お取り上げがなかった旨を御老中稲葉美濃守正則殿から御指図があった旨を大隅守殿から申してきた。
一、閏四月朔日、上使として御老中稲葉美濃守正則殿を通じて国許への御暇を仰せ出され、白銀千枚、御袷百を御拝領。美濃守殿がお越しになる以前に御拝領の銀と御袷が来たので、御取次が受け取り、御書院の御床前に並べて置いた。
美濃守殿がお越しの節、昌親様・仙菊様が御同道で御玄関の御式台板縁までお出迎え。そこから御案内して美濃守殿を御書院へお通しし、上意の趣をお達しになった。御請けが済んで御長蚫を御直に御居になり、御吸物を出し御盃事があった。御料理は御断りして御退出。
一、同日（五時過ぎ）御登城。御暇の御礼を仰せ上げられた。御鷹二、御馬一を御拝領。終わってお連れの御家来狛木工允貞澄の御目見を仰せ付けられ退去。木工允に御袷四（内紅裏一）、御羽織一の拝領を仰せ付けられた。済んで御退去の際、御老中・若年寄中並びに酒井河内守忠挙殿へ御回勤。
一、同日、右同様につき京都所司代永井伊賀守尚庸殿へ御書を遣わされた。
一、同日、右同様につき本多孫太郎長員をはじめ御家老・御城代へ御書を成された。

However, regarding the above petition, the accounting officials stated it was inappropriate, so there was no action taken. This instruction came from Senior Councilor Inaba Mino-no-kami Masanori, as conveyed by Lord Osumi-no-kami.
1. On the 1st day of intercalary 4th month, through the imperial envoy Senior Councilor Inaba Mino-no-kami Masanori, permission to return to the domain was granted, along with the bestowal of 1,000 pieces of white silver and 100 lined robes. Before Mino-no-kami's arrival, the bestowed silver and robes had arrived, which the attendant received and arranged before the alcove in the reception hall.
When Mino-no-kami arrived, Lord Masachika and Lord Senkiku together went out to greet him at the entrance platform boardwalk of the main gate. From there they guided Mino-no-kami to the reception hall where the imperial will was conveyed. After the formal acceptance was completed, they sat directly on the long floor cushions, soup was served, and there was a sake ceremony. The formal meal was declined and he departed.
