     事     一諸侍武具専可相嗜之《割書:并》弓鉄砲其外      面々の得道具不断可令鍛錬事     一兵具之外不入道具を好私之奢不可致事     一乗馬者如先期之定三百石以上可所持之      供之時者百石以上可持之事     一諸士不寄何事訴訟於有之者如前々      当番之年寄迄以番頭可申之 番外者      其並之輩を以可相達 以他所衆堅不可申之事     一喧嘩口論堅禁制畢 若有之時令荷担者      其咎可重 於本人猥其場《割書:江》不可懸集事       附手負たる者不可隠置事     一本主之構有之者不可相抱有大科人之告者      急度可返之 軽き罪之者に至ハ侍者届      次第退散すへし 小者中間ハ可返之事     一不寄何事結徒党成誓約或ハ親類縁者      或寄親子たりといふ共贔負偏頗      不可仕事

現代語訳

こと 一、諸侍は武具を専ら相嗜むべし。並びに弓・鉄砲その外、面々の得意道具を不断に鍛錬させるべきこと 一、兵具の外、不要な道具を好み私の奢りを致すべからざること 一、乗馬の者は先期の定めの如く三百石以上が所持すべし。供の時は百石以上が持つべきこと 一、諸士は何事によらず訴訟これ有る者は前々の如く、当番の年寄まで番頭を以て申すべし。番外の者はその並びの輩を以て相達すべし。他所衆を以て堅く申すべからざること 一、喧嘩・口論は堅く禁制し畢んぬ。もしこれ有る時、荷担する者はその咎重かるべし。本人において猥りにその場へ懸け集るべからざること  付け、手負いたる者を隠し置くべからざること 一、本主の構えこれ有る者を相抱うべからず。大科人の告発者あらば急度返すべし。軽き罪の者に至っては、侍は届け次第退散すべし。小者・中間は返すべきこと 一、何事によらず徒党を結び誓約を成し、或いは親類縁者、或いは寄親子たりと言うとも、贔負・偏頗を仕るべからざること

英語訳

If there are informants of serious criminals, they must be promptly returned. As for those with minor crimes, samurai should disperse upon notification.
