一同月廿七日甲府宰相《割書：綱｜吉》様御疱瘡《割書：ニ》付
公方様御機嫌為御伺御使者葛巻治部右衛門《割書：盛｜矢》江戸表被指出之
今日福井出立
但治部右衛門江戸着不詳
一同月《割書：日不｜詳》福島御関所女通手形之儀《割書：ニ》付山村甚兵衛殿《割書：江》御家老
判鏡指出之
一二月朔日御参勤御時節御伺《割書：ニ》付而之御奉書於御老中宅御渡有之
御状令拝見候
公方様益御機嫌能被成御座珍重之旨尤之
事候 将又参勤時分之儀以使者相伺之候及
高聞候之処当四月中可致参府之由被
仰出之候 可被得其意候 恐々謹言

一、正月二十日、御座所において御家老中が雇用している女中の交替の件について、次の通り御家老中
並びに町中へ触れるよう町奉行へ月番御家老稲葉采女治房が申し渡した
御家中が雇用している女中は二月八月の両季の交替では何れも評議の
上よろしくない件に決まったため、今後は三月五日から翌年三月
五日までの一季の交替と定めるべきである
一、同月二十七日、甲府宰相綱吉様が疱瘡にかかられたことについて
公方様の御機嫌を伺うため御使者葛巻治部右衛門盛矢を江戸表へ差し出された
今日福井を出立した
ただし治部右衛門の江戸着は不詳
一、同月（日付不詳）、福島御関所の女性通行手形の件について山村甚兵衛殿へ御家老の
判鑑を差し出した
一、二月朔日、御参勤の御時節の御伺いについての御奉書が御老中宅において御渡しがあった
御状を拝見いたします
公方様がますます御機嫌よくお過ごしになられていることは珍重の旨もっともな
ことでございます。さて参勤時分の件について使者をもって伺ったところ
高聞に及んだ処、当四月中に参府すべき旨を
仰せ出されました。その意を得られるべきです。恐々謹言

1st, On January 20th, at the sitting chamber, regarding the matter of replacing the female servants employed by the senior retainers, monthly duty senior retainer Inaba Uneme Harufusa ordered the town magistrate to announce the following to the senior retainers and townspeople:
The female servants employed by the domain retainers have been replaced twice yearly in February and August, but after deliberation, this has been determined to be inappropriate, so henceforth it shall be established that replacement occur once yearly from March 5th to the following March 5th
1st, On the 27th of the same month, regarding Lord Kofu no Saisho Tsunayoshi contracting smallpox, messenger Kuzumaki Jibuemon Moriya was sent to Edo to inquire about the Shogun's condition. He departed from Fukui today
However, Jibuemon's arrival in Edo is unknown
1st, On the same month (date unknown), regarding the matter of women's travel permits at Fukushima checkpoint, a senior retainer's official seal was submitted to Lord Yamamura Jinbei
1st, On February 1st, an official letter regarding the inquiry about the timing of mandatory attendance was delivered at the senior councilor's residence

That the Shogun is increasingly in good health is indeed most precious and appropriate. Furthermore, regarding the matter of the timing of sankin attendance, when inquired through a messenger, it came to [my] attention that you have been ordered to come to the capital during this April.
