献上された。御台様へ鯖（五十匹刺入）一箱、小樽一荷を差し上げた。
一、七月八日、上使三好備前守勝仕殿をもって御鷹の雲雀（二十羽）を御拝領した。
備前守殿がこの御屋敷へお越しになった節、御玄関で雲雀を花木外記時が
受け取り、御書院へ持参した。その節、御広間の板縁まで御出迎えし、御案内で
備前守殿を御書院へお返しした。上意の趣旨をお達しになり、御頂戴が相済み、
長い間御直にお座りになり、御拝領の雲雀を御吸物にして御盃事が
あった。御料理をお断りになったので出さず、御退出の節は御玄関までお送りになった。
右のお礼を、御不快につき御名代として
綱昌様が御登城し、それから御老中を御廻勤された。
一、同月十八日、上野介近栄様が御登城された（昨十七日、御老中土屋但馬守殿から御切紙をもって仰せ出された）ところ、飛鳥井
大納言雅章殿の御孫女（清姫様）を
昌親様の御養女（実は御姪）とし、
綱昌様へ御縁組をされたい段を、
昌親様がかねて御願いの通り仰せ出された旨を御老中土屋
但馬守直殿がお達しになり、上野介様は御退出がけにこの御屋敷へお越しになり、
右の趣旨を仰せ上げられた。右のお礼として御老中・若年寄中並びに酒井
河内守忠殿へ御使者として御家老飯田主米安成を差し出された。
ただし昌親様が御不快につき、上野介様を召された。

1st, July 8th, through the imperial messenger Miyoshi Bizen-no-kami Katsutsuka, twenty larks from the shogun's falconry were graciously received.
When Bizen-no-kami came to this mansion, at the entrance hall, Hanagi Geki Toki received the larks and brought them to the reception room. At that time, he went out to greet him as far as the wooden veranda of the great hall, and guided Bizen-no-kami to the reception room. The shogun's intentions were conveyed, and after the reception was completed, he sat directly for a long time, and there was a sake ceremony with the gifted larks made into soup. Since he declined the meal, it was not served. Upon his departure, he was seen off to the entrance hall.
As thanks for this, due to [Lord Masachika's] indisposition, Lord Tsunamasa went to the castle as his proxy and then made courtesy calls to the senior councilors.
1st, On the 18th of the same month, Lord Kozuke-no-suke Chikahide went to the castle (as announced yesterday, the 17th, through an official notice from Senior Councilor Tsuchiya Tajima-no-kami), where it was announced that Asukai Dainagon Masaaki's granddaughter (Lady Kiyo) would become Lord Masachika's adopted daughter (actually his niece) and be betrothed to Lord Tsunamasa, as Lord Masachika had previously requested. This was conveyed by Senior Councilor Tsuchiya Tajima-no-kami Nao. Upon leaving the castle, Lord Kozuke-no-suke came to this mansion and reported this matter. As thanks for this, Senior Retainer Iida Shukome Yasunari was sent as messenger to the senior councilors, junior councilors, and Lord Sakai Kawachi-no-kami Tada.
However, due to Lord Masachika's indisposition, Lord Kozuke-no-suke was summoned.
