現代語訳
候事
一、同十一年（戌年）十月、■手修行に精を出し候につき御酒を下され候事
一、同年十二月、馬術締り方を仰せ付けられ、手始めの処で精を出し相勤め、諸生を宜しく取り扱い候につき、御褒美として綿一把を下し置かれ候事
一、同十二年（亥年）正月、頭源田又助が若年寄を仰せ付けられ候につき、跡御役林又彦組に罷り成り候事
一、同十三年（子年）正月、豆州下田湊へ異船到来の節、大銃の打ち手として観音崎御台場へ相詰め候事
一、同十四年（丑年）正月、去春豆州下田へ異船が相見え候節、御備場へ数日相詰め、勤労を致し候につき御酒を下され候事
一、同年十月、房州沖へ異船が相見え候につき、大銃の打ち手として平根山御台場へ相詰め候事
一、文政元年（寅年）三月、操練に精を出し相励み

一、In the 12th month of the same year, when appointed to oversee equestrian training, he worked diligently from the beginning and treated all students well, so he was given one bundle of cotton as a reward
一、In the 1st month of the same 12th year (Year of the Boar), when chief Genda Matasuke was appointed as wakadoshiyori (junior councilor), he was transferred to serve under Hayashi Matahiko who took over the position
一、In the 1st month of the same 13th year (Year of the Rat), when foreign ships arrived at Shimoda port in Izu Province, he was stationed at Kannonzaki coastal battery as a cannon operator
一、In the 1st month of the same 14th year (Year of the Ox), regarding the foreign ships sighted at Shimoda in Izu Province the previous spring, for his diligent service being stationed at the military preparation site for several days, he was given sake as a reward
一、In the 10th month of the same year, when foreign ships were sighted off the coast of Bōshū, he was stationed at Hiraneyama coastal battery as a cannon operator
