○楊（やなぎ）には黄、白、青、赤の四種類がある。白楊は葉が丸く、青楊は葉が長い。赤楊は霜が降りると葉が赤く染まる。水楊は川柳で、水辺に生える。
○寄生（やどりき）は様々な木にあり、枝の間や木の股に生える木をいう。宿主の木によって名前が変わる。また寓木ともいう。
