○費長房は後漢時代の人である。仙術を学び習得して白鶴に乗って空中を飛行し遊んだ仙人である。
○琴高は神仙の術を学んで、その功績が大きく、大きな鯉に乗って水上を飛行し、書を読んで遊んだ仙人であるという。

○太公望は尚父ともいう。渭水のほとりで釣りを楽しんだ隠士である。後に八十余歳に及んで、周の文王がその賢才を知って師とし、同じく武王に兵法を教えた。ついに紂王を滅ぼした。
○上利剣は剣を乗り物として大海の波上を飛行する術を得たという。

○Fei Changfang was a person of the Later Han dynasty. He was an immortal who learned and mastered the arts of immortality, riding white cranes and flying through the sky for pleasure.
○Qin Gao learned the arts of divine immortals, and due to his great achievements, he was an immortal who rode upon large carp, flying over water surfaces while reading books for enjoyment.

○Taigongwang is also called Shangfu. He was a hermit who enjoyed fishing by the Wei River. Later, when he reached over eighty years of age, King Wen of Zhou recognized his virtue and made him his teacher. He taught military strategy to King Wu, and ultimately destroyed King Zhou.
○Shangli Jian obtained the technique of using a sword as a vehicle to fly over the waves of the great sea.
