[前頁からの続き：蟷螂（かまきり）はいぼ虫を食べ]、仲夏に発生する。怒ると前脚を振り上げる。
○絡線（こおろぎ）はきりぎりすともいう。別名を聒々児という。いとどというのもこの仲間である。
○螇蚸（けいれき）は別名を蟿螽という。はたはた虫で、俗にしょうりょう虫という。
○竈馬（まるいとど）は別名を竈雞という。形は丸く脚が長い。竈のほとりに住む。

○The dragonfly has six legs and four wings, appears in summer, and flies to catch and eat insects. The large ones are called yanma.
○The red dragonfly is a dragonfly with red coloring. It is commonly called aka-yanma. When burned black, it treats throat swelling.

○The hatahata is also called shūshi. It resembles the locust.
