素戔嗚尊はそのまま出雲国にいらして神となられたので、大社杵築大明神と申し上げている。十月はこの明神がお隠れになる月なので、神無月と申すのである。また出雲国に神在浦という所があり、毎年十月に日本国の神々がその浦に来臨される。その証拠には笹舟がいくらともなく波の上に浮かぶということである。これによって出雲国は十月を神在月とも申すのである。
