【右丁】
やってみようと大海の底を探り給うけれども国がなかったので、鉾を上げてみると浮かび上がってきた。その鉾の雫が落ちて留まり固まって島となった。軽々としているゆえに「おのころ島」と申す。この秋津洲の地を築くべき先兵にや、大海の波の上に「大日」という文字が浮かんで見えた。紋章の上に鉾の雫が留まって島となった。軽々としているゆえに「大日本国」と言うのである。
さて国常立尊が天上し給うと、国狭槌尊が現れ出て国家を固め給うた。

百億万歳を経て後、豊雲野尊が現れ給う。世に豊饒の種を蒔き給うのはこの尊のお計らいとか。以上三代は男神でいらっしゃった。その後、男神に泥土煮尊が国土に土を蒔き給い、女神に沙土煮尊が国土に砂を蒔き給う。共に二百億万歳を経給うとか。その後また男神に大戸道尊、女神に大戸辺尊が国の境界・道を定め給うた。
