- In the same month, having diligently served as the receiving-sword partner during Lady Ryōtokuin's spear-arts practice sessions, he was privately granted one bundle of cotton as a reward.
(Note: After this, the same grant was bestowed upon him annually in the years that followed.)
- In the same month, he was appointed to the permanent post of messenger officer [otsukaiban sadaka], and duly served in that capacity.

- In the third month of the tenth year of the Horse [Bunka 10, 1813], he succeeded to the headship of his household, and was granted an estate of one hundred and fifty koku without any discrepancy.

- In the first month of the twelfth year of the Monkey [Bunka 12, 1815], his adoptive father Minamoto Ukiyū's legitimate grandson, Tomonosuke, was granted permission to be formally designated as legitimate heir, in accordance with a petition submitted to that effect.
