一、同年十月、この度御勘定所の御振合いを転じられ候につき、定立合御免なされ、御新領御手始めの御用向き繁多の処、出精相勤め、御入方減の筋にも心を附け、御勘定頭へも宜しく申し談じ、勤労致し候段、仰せ出され候事。

...and in particular, he personally undertook the unloading work [te-oroshi] himself, exerting himself to the utmost until the completion of the construction works [go-fushin], and having performed his duties with exceptional diligence and hard work, he was accordingly awarded, as a mark of commendation [go-hōbi], one bolt of silk [hiki] in lieu of a formal garment [go-kosode], along with cotton [wadded material], and three pieces of silver as an accompanying gift.
- In the tenth month of the same year: as the procedures and customary practices [furi-ai] of the Accounting Office [go-kanjō-sho] had been revised on this occasion, he was relieved of the regular joint auditing duties [sadame-tachiai], and, despite the great volume of work associated with the commencement of administrative affairs for the new domain lands [go-shin-ryō], he applied himself diligently to his duties, attended carefully to matters concerning the reduction of expenditures [go-iri-kata gen], and consulted appropriately with the Head of the Accounting Office [go-kanjō-gashira]; his diligent service was hereby commended, as so ordered.

- In the twelfth month of the same year: in connection with his concurrent appointment as Armaments Commissioner [bugu-bugyō], regarding his office stipend [o-yaku-ryō] of three ryō and three bu, it was ordered that, after the deduction [o-kariage], the remaining half was to be paid out [han-watashi].
- In the intercalary eleventh month of the tenth year, the Year of the Rooster [Bunka 10, 1813]: he was ordered to additionally take charge of artillery duties [hōjutsu go-yō], and all those serving together were entrusted with artillery duties; they were further ordered to progressively instruct [densho itashi] the garrison personnel [tsumiai no mono] in the operation of the large cannon [daijū] at the coastal battery [go-daiba], as well as the other reserve guns [go-sonaetsu].
- In the twelfth month of the same year: at the newly established defensive positions [go-sonae-ba] in Sagami Province, he applied himself diligently to general supervisory duties [shime-kata] and various other official duties [shina-jina no go-yō]...
