1. On the 9th day of the 8th month of Tenna 3, the Year of the Boar [1683], he died of illness at the age of seventy-nine. His posthumous Buddhist name (*hōmyō*) was Jishōin En'etsu. His place of burial was Jōkōji temple on Mount Hōshō.
**Kurobei** *(family name unknown)*
1. Regarding Kurobei, there is no record of him transmitted within this family; however, in a diary entry from the 3rd month of Enpō 6, the Year of the Horse [1678], it is noted that "Yoshida Kurobei, a retainer of Lord Uzugawa Buzen-no-Kami, is the younger brother of Yoshida Jirōzaemon." On the basis of this reference, his lineage has been traced and recorded here.

Mother: daughter of the Ikuno clan
1. In the 8th month of Kanbun 3, the Year of the Hare [1663], at Takizawa-chō, he struck down Shichizaemon, a *dōshin* (subordinate officer) of Iino Han'suke, and fled from the scene.
