1. In the 5th month of Genroku 11, the Year of the Tiger [1698], he traveled up to Edo for guard duty (*kinban*); in the 9th month of the same year, he returned home.
2. In the 11th month of the same year, as Lady Genkōin had passed away, he traveled up to Edo as a special messenger (*otsukai*) to convey the news.
3. In the 10th month of Genroku 13, the Year of the Dragon [1700], he traveled up to Edo for guard duty; in the 5th month of the following Year of the Snake [1701], he served in attendance and then returned home.
4. In the 4th month of Hōei 1, the Year of the Monkey [1704], he traveled up to Edo in attendance for guard duty; in the 10th month of the same year, he returned home.

1. In the 12th month of Hōei 2, the Year of the Rooster [1705], in accordance with his father's petition, he was appointed as a replacement guard (*ban-dai*), was placed in the unit of Hyūga Sanrōemon, and served in castle guard duty (*oshiro go-ban*).
2. In the 10th month of Hōei 7, the Year of the Tiger [1710], he traveled up to Edo for guard duty; in the 4th month of the following Year of the Rabbit [1711], he returned home.
3. In Shōtoku 2, the Year of the Dragon [1712], his inherited stipend (*atoshiki go-chigyō*) of two hundred and fifty *koku* was confirmed and granted to him without any discrepancy.
4. In the 10th month of Kyōhō 3, the Year of the Dog [1718], he traveled up to Edo for guard duty, serving in the mounted infantry unit (*ashikiba*), and in the 4th month of the following Year of the Boar [1719], he returned home.
