一、同（元禄）十二年（1699年）卯年、五月、江戸にて御代官役を仰せ付けられたところ、不調法（ふちょうほう）のお請けを申し上げたことにより、御役を召し上げられ、会津へ差し下された件

2. **Kanbun 12 (1672), Year of the Rat, 11th month:** As requested, was granted leave of absence (oitoma).
3. **Genroku 10 (1697), Year of the Ox, 12th month:** Through the kind intercession (gojō) of his elder brother Tsuda Sukogurō, he was ordered to return to service, granted a stipend of seventeen persons' worth of provisions (jūshichi ninbuchi), assigned to permanent duty in Edo (Edo jōzume), and appointed to the position of Ojiban (御次番, attendant duty officer).
4. **Genroku 12 (1699), Year of the Rabbit, 5th month:** While in Edo, he was appointed to the post of Odaikan-yaku (御代官役, district magistrate's role); however, having submitted a reply indicating his unsuitability (fuchōhō no oke), he was relieved of the post and sent back down to Aizu.
5. **Same year, 6th month:** On the occasion of his formal entry into the castle (osashi-iri), he was granted an audience (omemie).

6. **Same year, 9th month:** He was assigned to the Tozama-gumi (外様組, outer retainer unit) and placed under the command of Harada Gorōemon's unit, where he served in castle guard duty (oshiro-oban).
7. **Genroku 15 (1702), Year of the Dog, 3rd month:** His stipend was increased by three persons' worth of provisions, bringing the total to twenty persons' worth (nijū ninbuchi). He was attached to the Kōsho (講所, domain academy/training hall) and appointed to a position equivalent to that of Ojiban in terms of rank and protocol, and was further ordered to serve as a rotating monthly duty officer (kakari-tsukiban) for the Ojiban post.
8. **Hōei 1 (1704), Year of the Monkey, 1st month:** He was ordered to give instructions and direction regarding matters of the Southern Kōsho (Minami Kōsho) without reserve or hesitation.
9. **Hōei 3 (1706), Year of the Dog, 3rd month:** Having previously been entrusted with overseeing the operations of the Kōsho, he was relieved of his current post on the grounds that his management was deemed unsatisfactory.
