1. In the 12th month of Genroku 4, the Year of the Sheep [1691], in accordance with his parent's petition, he was granted his first audience (*o-memie*) with the lord.
2. In the 1st month of Kyōhō 9, the Year of the Dragon [1724], in accordance with his parent's petition, his request to change his name to Magosaburō was granted.
3. In the 4th month of Kyōhō 10, the Year of the Snake [1725], in accordance with his parent's petition, he was appointed as replacement guard (*ban-dai*),

and served as castle guard (*o-shiro go-ban*) in the unit of Hyūga Saburōemon.
4. In the 3rd month of Kyōhō 15, the Year of the Dog [1730], his commanding officer (*kashira*) Hyūga Saburōemon was ordered into retirement, and he was transferred to the unit of Bukawa Gen'nosuke as his successor post.
5. In the 2nd month of Kyōhō 17, the Year of the Rat [1732], his commanding officer Bukawa Gen'nosuke was appointed as *wakadoshiyori* (junior elder), and he was transferred to the unit of Miyake Magobei as his successor post.
6. In the 10th month of Kyōhō 19, the Year of the Tiger [1734], he traveled up to Edo for *kinban* (alternate duty service), and returned in the 4th month of the following Year of the Rabbit [1735].
7. In the 9th month of Genbun 1, the Year of the Dragon [1736], his hereditary stipend (*ato-shiki go-chigyō*) of 250 *koku* was confirmed and granted to him without discrepancy.
