1. In the 8th month of Hōreki 5, the Year of the Boar [1755], in accordance with his father's petition, he was granted his first audience (*o-memie*) with the domain lord.

2. In the 12th month of Hōreki 13, the Year of the Sheep [1763], his inherited stipend (*atoshiki go-chigyō*) of 250 *koku* was confirmed without alteration, and he was assigned to the *tozama* unit, serving as castle guard (*go-shiro go-ban*) in the unit of Yamazaki Sasuke.
3. In the 3rd month of Meiwa 2, the Year of the Rooster [1765], he traveled to Yamagata for *kinban* (alternate duty service), and returned in the 9th month of the same year.
4. In the 10th month of Meiwa 3, the Year of the Dog [1766], he traveled up to Edo for *kinban*, and returned in the 4th month of the following Year of the Boar [1767], in attendance (*o-tomo*) upon the domain lord.
5. In the 3rd month of Meiwa 8, the Year of the Hare [1771], his commanding officer (*kashira*) Yamazaki Sasuke was relieved of his post, and he was consequently transferred to the unit of Tanaka Kahei as his successor post.
