一 同五申年十二月、頭・田中加兵衛、御役替えに付き、跡御役・春日仁左衛門組に罷り成り候事。
一 同九子年十一月、御目付を仰せ付けられ候事。
一 天明元丑年四月、勤番のため江戸表へ罷り登り、同十月、罷り下り候。
ただし、右陣中御部屋勤めもこれある処、精を出し相勤め候段、仰せ出され候事。
一 同五巳年五月、山奉行を仰せ付けられ候事。

一 同八申年二月、諸山の悪木を払い取り計らい、御開金を備え、当務の外、臨時の勤労をいたし候に付き、御褒美として古御麻上下一具を下し置かれ候事。

一 寛政二戌年三月、去年中、御用材をよろしく取り計らい、御益もこれあり、その外取り計らい方に付いては、支配の者へも差図に及び、精を出し相勤め候に付き、御褒美として銀子五枚を下し置かれ候事。

1. In the 2nd month of An'ei 3, the Year of the Horse [1774], his request to change his name to Jirōzaemon was granted in accordance with his petition.
2. In the 12th month of An'ei 5, the Year of the Monkey [1776], his commanding officer (*kashira*) Tanaka Kahei was reassigned to a different post, and he was consequently transferred to the unit of Kasuga Jinzaemon as his successor post.
3. In the 11th month of An'ei 9, the Year of the Rat [1780], he was appointed as *o-metsuke* (inspector/censor).
4. In the 4th month of Tenmei 1, the Year of the Ox [1781], he traveled up to Edo for *kinban* (alternate duty service), and returned in the 10th month of the same year.
*Note: Although there was also duty service in the military staff quarters (*jinchū o-heya*) during this period, it was declared that he had performed his duties with great diligence.*
5. In the 5th month of Tenmei 5, the Year of the Snake [1785], he was appointed as *Yama Bugyō* (Mountain Magistrate/Commissioner of Forestry).

6. In the 2nd month of Tenmei 8, the Year of the Monkey [1788], in regard to the clearing and management of unwanted trees (*akugi*) across various domain forests, the securing of the *o-hiraki-kin* (development/operating funds), and the performance of extraordinary duties beyond his regular responsibilities, he was awarded one set of formal hemp clothing (*ko-o-asa kamishimo*) as a reward for his meritorious service.
7. In the 4th month of the same year, it was officially declared that he had provided appropriate and effective direction during the transport of ship planks (*funaita*).
8. In the 3rd month of Kansei 2, the Year of the Dog [1790], for having properly managed the procurement of *go-yōzai* (timber requisitioned for official use) during the previous year, resulting in benefit to the domain, and for having extended his guidance to those under his supervision in all related matters, performing his duties with great diligence, he was awarded five pieces of silver (*ginshi go-mai*) as a reward.
