一 同七卯年十二月、芝御屋敷の御普請につき廻材の御用懸りとして出精し、よろしく取り計らい、且つ同役の留主中、壱人にて骨折り相勤め候に付き、御褒美として御古御小袖壱つを下し置かれ候事。
一 同月、勤番として江戸表へ罷り登り候事。
一 同八辰年六月、支配筋の取り扱いよろしく行き及び、年来よろしく取り勤め候に付き、御役料三十石を下し置かれる旨、江戸表において仰せ出され候事。

1. In the 12th month of Kansei 7, the Year of the Rabbit [1795], for his diligent service as the person in charge of procuring timber (*mawari-zai*) for the construction works at the Shiba residence (*o-yashiro*), his proper management thereof, and for having worked single-handedly with great effort as the sole remaining member among his colleagues during the absence of the others (*tomari-jū*), he was awarded one secondhand *koshode* garment (*o-furu o-kosode hito-tsu*) as a reward.
2. In the same month, he departed for and ascended to Edo on rotation duty (*kinban*).
3. In the 6th month of Kansei 8, the Year of the Dragon [1796], for his effective management of supervisory affairs and his many years of capable and diligent service, it was officially declared in Edo that he would be granted an additional stipend (*o-yaku-ryō*) of thirty *koku*.

4. In the 7th month of the same year, as he was due to rotate out the following month, it was declared that, since having him replaced at this particular juncture might cause difficulties, he was to be kept at his post (*o-tome*) until the completion of the palace construction works (*go-ten go-fushin*).
5. In the 5th month of Kansei 9, the Year of the Snake [1797], during the lord's journey down to the domain (*o-gekō*), he was appointed to the temporary post of *Metsuke* (Inspector/Censor) and descended to the domain.
6. In the 7th month of the same year, during his Edo rotation duty (*kinban*): the new construction of the Young Lady's (*Waka-gozen-sama*) palace having been successfully completed, he additionally undertook a permanent posting (*ei-zume*) in connection therewith; and furthermore, regarding the portions under the supervision of the fire-damage reconstruction works (*go-ruishō go-fushin-gakari*), as well as the fire damage at the Mita long-row tenement quarters (*o-nagaya*) —
