増補して世に発行してはどうかと諸君子
のお勧めをいただいたことにより、先哲の遺稿あれ
これを求め得て立亭の主人に校正を
お願いし、公にお願いして速やかに一篇の
小冊子とすることができた。《私は》手の舞い足の踏む所を
知らず歓喜に堪えず、ただちに版木に刻んで
手の中の玉と愛でて世に広く
光を映すことを願うのである。

therefore, they are difficult for beginners to understand. This time,
having received recommendations from various gentlemen
to publish an expanded edition, I sought out and obtained
various manuscripts left by previous scholars, requested proofreading from
the master of Ritei-tei, and petitioned publicly to quickly produce
a small booklet. I was so overjoyed that I didn't know
where to place my dancing hands and stamping feet, and immediately had it
carved on printing blocks, cherishing it like a jewel in my palm,
wishing for its light to shine widely throughout the world.
