現代語訳
二分五厘、いずれも細かく粉にして、別に生地黄、当帰を等分、水で濃く煎じて飲み汁にして前の粉薬を服用する。小児は必ず大便に汚穢の物を下し、一生疱瘡を患わず。
又方
小児初めて生まれしとき、生地黄の自然汁（絞り汁）を蜆貝に二三杯ほど飲ませれば悪しき物を下して疱瘡を患わず。
又方
白鳩の羽毛・腸を去り、節分の夜に煮て小児に食べさせる。羽毛は水で洗い、全身を洗うべし。
又方
鶴の卵を水で煮て小児に食べさせる。

2 bu 5 rin, grind all finely into powder, and separately [prepare] equal parts of fresh rehmannia and Chinese angelica, decoct thickly with water to make a drinking liquid, and administer the aforementioned powder medicine with it. The child will surely discharge filthy matter in their bowel movements and will not suffer from smallpox for their entire life.

When a child is first born, if you give them 2-3 small shellcups of fresh juice (pressed juice) of fresh rehmannia, they will discharge evil matter and not suffer from smallpox.
