 一銀弐拾壱匁弐歩   右同断                  右真田主税分      支配之分  一切米弐拾五石 銀五匁九歩   一同弐拾石 銀四匁七歩弐厘  一同十八石   同弐匁三歩六厘 一同拾石  同弐匁三歩六厘  一同九石    同弐匁壱歩弐厘 一同八石  同壱匁八歩九厘  一同七石    同壱匁六歩九厘     〆                   御奉行へ 〇御代官方下代共召抱候儀近年勘定所向之吟味ニ相成御代官方ニ而召抱候名目  斗ニ而相済来候向後ハ前々之通御代官方ニ而吟味之上召抱候様被仰出候      八月十八日                   金津奉行                   町奉行                   郡奉行 〇此度以思召評定所腰掛内へ目安箱被指出御条目建札評定所脇塀際ニ被指  出候申談可被取扱候右ニ付別紙書付相渡候支配下へ申渡候様被仰出候     別紙            金津奉行                   郡奉行 一目安箱内へ御条目之通百姓共勝手次第訴状投込可申事 一近来百姓共之内奢ニ長し身之廻りを飾り町人之風儀見習候様ニ相成別而御城下  近キ村々ハ猶更町人之風儀ニ見習安く農業疎ニ相成百姓之風儀悪く甚心得違  之事ニ候 一下たる者常に正直ニして皆能家業を励ミ身持をへりくたり倹約を守り年  毎ニ取納る分際を能はかりて夫ニ応して米銭を遣ひ用る事を致し万の奢  をやめ費を省キ万事七分に相暮すを要用与可致事 一農業を励ミ百姓身分相応ニいたし蓑笠を着し草鞋相用髪も稾ニ而  結ひ候程之心得ニ可致事住居も天下の御定法ニハ根太半分土間半分と申  儀ニ候聊も奢不申候ヘハ困窮も不致下行等も過分ニ相願候儀無之道理ニ候諸御役人  初手代等ニ至迄聊も百姓共ゟ賄賂等不指出村方庄屋共之手へ下行米受取  小百姓共へ渡方明白ニ取扱疑不申様可取計旨被仰出候右ハ格別之以思召御

Recently, some farmers have become given to luxury, adorning themselves and imitating townspeople's customs. Particularly villages near the castle town are even more prone to imitating townspeople's customs, neglecting agriculture, with poor farming customs - this is a great misunderstanding 1. Those of lower status should always be honest, all should work diligently at their occupations, conduct themselves humbly, maintain frugality, carefully calculate what they can afford each year according to their income, spend rice and money accordingly, cease all luxury, reduce expenses, and live at seven-tenths capacity in all matters as essential 1. They should encourage agriculture and live according to farmer status, wearing straw raincoats and hats, using straw sandals, and tying their hair with straw - this should be their mindset. Regarding dwellings, the national regulations state half raised floor, half earthen floor. If they do not indulge in luxury at all, they will not fall into poverty, and it is reasonable that they would not excessively request relief rice. From all officials to clerks, they must not accept even the smallest bribes from farmers.
