一、御扶持人の輩は訴状投げ込み申すまじく。町人百姓のために出してある目安箱に候。支配頭へ申し達すべきことに候。万一頭へ対し申し出難い儀これあり候わば、御目付へなりとも指し出すべきこと

1. When the suggestion box is installed, group members from the Kanazu Magistrate, Town Magistrate, and District Magistrate will accompany its transport. The foot inspector (okachi-metsuke) shall receive it at that location and handle it. It has been ordered that on the last day of each month (29th for short months), the foot inspector shall accompany it to the lord's residence and hand it over to the inspector. It should properly be submitted to the senior councillor (chuuro). When the lord enters Edo, it has also been ordered that it should be submitted to the senior councillor's residence.

○ In years of attendance in Edo, when two chief pages are on duty together, even if those receiving 150 koku or more and those receiving 100 koku are on duty together, hereafter the 100 koku recipients will not receive the additional 50 koku duty allowance. When two chief pages both receiving 100 koku are on duty together, the senior one shall receive the 50 koku duty allowance. Please understand this accordingly.
